Overview
We seek to transmit our learnings from formal research and action-research into wider impacts through training and capacity building at multiple levels: village-level leaders, civil society organizations, and government officials.
Our training workshops cover several topics including basics of FRA and PESA, CFR claim-making, CFR area mapping and diagnosis of wrong titles, use of geospatial tools, CFR management planning, and CFR-based enterprise creation.
We have conducted over 20 training workshops since 2020 in partnership with civil society organizations across central India including in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana. We are building long-term partnerships with some of these organizations to enable learning and adaptive management. More recently, we have engaged with training of government officials and elected representatives in District Level Committees across entire Madhya Pradesh.
