Annual Perspective and Skill Building Workshop for FRA Coordinators, held at Jagdalpur (CG)

A nine-day perspectives-building workshop was held from 3rd to 11th October 2026 at Good Shepherd Pastoral Center, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, for FRA coordinators from Bastar and Baiga Chak. Dr. Sharachchandra Lele, Satyam Srivastava, Mohit Mahajan, Yashashree Garge, along with experts in accounting, conducted interactive sessions on NTFP marketing, narrative writing, account keeping, law & governance, climate change, caste dynamics, and computer skills. These discussions were followed by field visits to two model villages in Bastar — Netanar and Dhudmaras — that have been successful in managing their Community Forest Resource areas since the recognition of their titles. The workshop fostered camaraderie through games, films, and music, concluding with reflections on learnings and field strategies.
