Training workshop on Forest Rights in Ghodadongri Block, Betul District, Madhya Pradesh

ATREE’s Madhya Pradesh team, in collaboration with Ekta Grameen Jan Sahyog Sanstha, co-organized a two-day training workshop on claim-making for Community Forest Resource Rights (CFRR) in Ghodadongri block of Betul District, Madhya Pradesh. This workshop was held at the CASA campus on February 8-9, 2026.

The training was conducted by Satyam Shrivastava and Sharachchandra Lele from ATREE, and covered both CFRR claim-making and also the specific challenges facing Forest Villages. The thirty-odd participants included staff of Ekta Sanstha as well as members of Forest Rights Committees from 8 villages across Ghodadongri block.
