Overview
We develop geospatial solutions for state and community-level use including Web-GIS and mobile-based mapping applications to deepen access to spatial data and its effective use in forest management.
Noting the importance and technical challenges of mapping while making CFR claims as well as for management planning, we have developed open, community-informed and community-friendly applications – a WebGIS platform for identifying potential CFR areas and Aamcho CFR (a mobile based mapping application).
We also provide technical assistance and end-to-end facilitation in use of these applications for its use in community-based forest management.
